After working in the plumbing industry in nearly every category, Todd started his own full-fledged business on the side by word of mouth. By November 2023, he had enough work to seriously consider leaving his full-time job, and by December, the decision had been made. Most of his contacts are still word of mouth, but after such positive reactions from his customers, he decided to expand his services to the rest of Utah!

THE WORD ON DRAIN CLEANING:

You may have found our company through our business cards that say “everything but drain cleaning”. Drain cleaning has been a part of the plumbing industry forever, so why not offer that service?

The joke is that Todd’s wife doesn’t like the way he smells when he comes home afterwards, and while that’s still true, there is a bit more to the story.

A drain snake down a toilet, sink, or tub is definitely something we CAN handle. We have equipment for it, and are happy to help get things draining again. However, at any given moment in the state of Utah, companies are offering drain cleaning services for any number of extremely low prices. After crunching the numbers on the cost of larger drain cleaning equipment and service calls, it was apparent that these companies lose money on these jobs, but it’s worth it to get one of their technicians in your home to upsell you on other products and services that they offer. Eventually they will need to charge extra on their other work to make up for the loss on the drain cleaning, and to us, that always seemed less than customer friendly. Why not just charge a fair price for ALL of your work?

So, as long as there are these kinds of discounts, we really can’t compete at those prices. So when you have plumbing needs outside of that, please give us a call and we’ll get you fixed up following our motto: ‘honest, fair, reliable’.
